Photos from the 2 'friendly' games against the Nottingham Panthers during Hockey Fest weekend.

Having met the players for the first time earlier on the Saturday morning it was time to see them on the ice for the first. The opening game being played later on that Saturday evening with the 2nd game being played on the Sunday afternoon.

Results

Saturday - Belfast Gaints 2 - 1 Panthers. Two debut goals and man of the match performance for No 47 Adam Keefe. Unfortunately soured by an injury in the first period to Jon Pelle keeping him out the remainder of that game and the second game too. Also casting doubt on him taking part in the opening game of the league next weekend.

Sunday - Belfast Gaints 2 - 4 Panthers. Giants goals scored by No 75 Robert Dowd and No 17 Jeremy Rebek, marking the first Giants goal for both players. Both sides taking the opportunity to play their back-up net minders in the third period.
